The first Arkansas waterstones have achieved excellent results in numerous preliminary tests and provide the usual sharpening feel for those who prefer sanding on a waterstone. As with the oilstone, natural novaculite is the main ingredient. However, as usual with water stones, this is integrated in a matrix. This construction not only ensures a high efficiency, but also a very long life compared to Japanese water stones. The stones are sumptuously sized with their dimensions of 20.3 x 7.6 x 2.5 cm and come with a non-slip silicone base. The available dressing stone ensures an optimal grinding surface during the entire service life. Grit 400, for rough roughing and repair of damaged cutting edges.
