The Benchmade Puukko is a robust bushcraft knife in Puukko style. The traditional Puukko comes from Scandinavia where it is an all-round outdoor knife. It is used there for bushcraft-like tasks, but also for hunting or for chores in and around the house. This Benchmade Puukko is a modern interpretation of this classic.
To carry this knife safely with you, a solid leather sheath is included. This is equipped with a fairly wide belt loop, with a second belt loop that serves as a 'dangler' if desired. For example, this makes it easier to squat or sit when you carry the knife on your belt. In addition, the sheath has a loop in which you can place a firesteel.
