With the design of the Böker Plus Kihon DC, American custom knife maker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of the Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the foundations and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements in a down-to-earth manner into the solid everyday knife. The features and the linear design demonstrate a high degree of practicality and give the knife, with its decisive price-performance advantage, an ideal basis for everyday carving work. D2's satin drop point blade opens smoothly via the removable thumb pin thanks to its ball bearing, while the sliding latch of the Crossbar Lock guarantees an intuitive, safe and practical release of the knife. The non-slip handle with textured squares is made of high-strength GFN and fits comfortably in the hand. Orange anodized rings around the blade shaft screw and the large handle screw give the Kihon a nice touch. With cord loop and convertible folding wire clip for flexible carrying options.
