BÖKER M4 SHERMAN-DAMASCUS

€398,95 EUR
By Boker

The Böker M4 Sherman-Damascus is a piece of living history combined with modern materials and high-quality craftsmanship. The American M4 Sherman was designed in 1940 and is still regarded as one of the most famous tanks in history. It was produced between 1942 and 1945, was in service until 1957 and was used on all the battlefields of World War II, not only by the United States and Canada, but also by Great Britain, the Free French Forces, China and even the Soviet -Union Union.

The Böker Sherman-Damascus is equipped with a unique damascus blade, forged from various materials from the production of M4 Sherman tanks. Hand-forged by Chad Nichols in the custom Ladder pattern, the unique damascus is reminiscent of the tank tracks left in the ground by the heavy chains of the M4 Sherman . The ball bearing blade is opened by means of a thumb stud and locked by a solid steel frame lock, a Hinderer Lock-Stop acts as overstretching protection for the lock.

The shape of the blade pays homage to the armor's aesthetic lines, while the decorative blade shaft propeller is modeled after the distinctive main drive gear. The slightly contoured jute micarta handle fits comfortably in the hand and the color is reminiscent of the camouflage paint used by both the US Army and the Marine Corps.

With lanyard hole and practical deep carrying clip. Handmade in the Böker knife factory in Solingen. The knife comes with certificate of authenticity and individual serial number. You can find the knife at The Old Man Amsterdam Knives & Tools .
