A recent addition to our Fox Knives collection is the Vengeance. This fearsome-looking fixed blade knife is part of Fox's Military Division, a line of performance-oriented knives and tools.

The practical benefits of the Fox FKMD Vengeance

Although the Vengeance seems mainly suitable for collectors with its distinctive design, its beautiful shape has clear practical advantages. For example, the recurved blade keeps materials from sliding off the blade while cutting and provides a forward balance of weight, which helps when chopping.

How is the FOX FKMD Vengeance finished?

It is flat ground from stainless N690 steel and has a great cutting geometry with a thickness of 5 millimeters. The handle is made of micarta that - just like the blade - is bead-blasted, which provides a lot of grip. The handle is much thicker towards the back, which provides a firm grip while chopping. The thinner part of the handle combined with the forward phalanx and spine provide a very precise grip close to the heel of the blade, perfect for finer cutting tasks. For carrying, the Vengeance comes with a snug-fitting green Kydex sheath and a Tek-Lok belt clip. Designer Jerry Hossom proves with the Vengeance that beautiful form and practical functionality do not have to be mutually exclusive!
